Seeing what chips look like and how they may look after a repair is important.  These are samples.  Results will vary depending on type, age and degree of damage.

	"What you see" Rock chips typically are the size of a dime or quarter.  You will see about a 85% increase in clarity when we perform your repair.
	Laminated glass and the damage Laminated glass is made of two layers of glass seperated by a plastic layer.  Most rock chips effect only the outer layer of glass.
	Antomy of a rock chip Most rock chips are round.  Legs that appear are what become long cracks.  When the cracks spread, replacement is the alternative to a simple repair.
	Bullseye This is the most common rock chip.
	Combo This is the type that will spread rapidly and without warning.
	Star break This type will spread rapidly from the pointed end of the break.
	Injector This is the primary tool we use, made by Glasweld.  It performs two primary functions; (1) extraction of air, moisture and debris (2) injection of permanent high grade resin.
	Curing Lamp This device is used after the Injection process is completed.  The curing lamp hardens the resin materials into a state that is harder than the glass.  You will not have any spreading or cracking after the repair is completed.
